Educating the Next Generation of Peace Leaders

Never Again International – Canada youth are working to ensure that children are never again manipulated by adults to become agents of war and can instead become soldiers for peace.

Never Again International – Canada is helping to write a brighter future for war-affected young girls in the DRC and empowering youth in their communities.  By educating young peace builders and equipping them with the tools to become the leaders of tomorrow, you can work with the youth of NAI-C and take an active role in stamping out the use of child soldiers.

Youth who receive an education are less likely to be involved in conflict. ~ Bono

Consider supporting a former child soldier and child affected by the war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo so that they can go to school.

By supporting these war-affected children to go to school and become engaged peace advocates YOU can help the youth advocate to end to the recruitment of children as soldiers.  Your donation will equip the youth with the ability to receive an education and share their message of peace with the world.

Article 26 of the International Declaration of Human Rights declares that everyone has the right to education.

You can help build peace and break the cycle of violence.  You can actively build the futures for young peace leaders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo!

Currently, school fees of 175 dollars per school year mean that these young peace advocates will not be able to attend school.

Would you like to support a war-affected youth to receive an education to become a future peace builder?

You can step forward and make a difference in the life of a peace builder!

You can transform lives and make a concrete impact in helping to build peace by investing in these young peace builders!

Never Again International – Canada is working to empower young women through education.  In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the systematic use of rape as a weapon of war has branded the country as the worst place in the world to be a woman.

You can create a new future for young peacekeeepers by supporting these children to go back to school this year and receive an education.

Make a concrete difference in helping to build peace by investing in these young peace builders!

You can email info@neveragaininternationalcanada.org to participate.

The prevention of genocide starts on the benches of schools…Education can help prevent hate speech and undermine prejudice, by weakening the grounds for ignorance, by promoting learning to live together, by cultivating respect for all people …In a world where the ‘local’ is but one click away from the ‘global, we need a renewed commitment to dialogue, tolerance, reconciliation and understanding – online and offline. ~ Irina Bokova, UNESCO Director General Education as a Strategy to Prevent Genocide
